August 2025: Migration begins
SODA token migration begins with a 2-way test phase, partners upgrade to SODAX infra and new integrations enter the roadmap.

August has been a month of continued focus on migration with all roads pointing to Sonic. The first phase of token migration from ICX to SODA is now live, testing the route with 2-way swaps, ahead of future CEX and final (one-way) migration.
Meanwhile partners have also ‘migrated’ their swap products onto the latest SODAX infrastructure. Both Balanced and hana wallet now offer intent based swaps across 11 chains, powered by the SODAX Unified Liquidity Layer on Sonic.
