SODA Migration Enters its Next Phase with CEX Support
  • Coinone is the first centralized exchange to announce their support of ICX to SODA migration.

  • Individuals holding ICX on supporting exchanges will not need to take further action to migrate.

  • Additional supporting exchanges will be added below once announced, along with their timelines.

Following the successful completion of our community test migration through the SODAX app, SODA migration enters its second phase. Over the coming weeks we will begin sharing updates of the centralized exchanges participating, allowing ICX holders on supported platforms to automatically migrate their held ICX on ICON, to SODA on Sonic.

What this means for ICX holders

If your ICX is held on a supporting centralized exchange, you won’t need to take any additional steps. Once your exchange executes the migration, your ICX balance will automatically convert to SODA, and your account will reflect the new token once trading and withdrawals resume.

Please note: while exchanges prepare for migration, deposits and withdrawals of ICX will be suspended. Always check your exchange’s official announcements for exact timing and confirmation of support before making any transfers. Do not send ICX to an exchange address after the migration process has begun, as this may result in loss of funds.

Coinone leads the way

We’re pleased to share that Coinone will be the first centralized exchange to support the ICX → SODA migration.

  • Deposits and withdrawals of ICX on Coinone will be suspended on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 11:50 PM (KST).

  • After suspension, Coinone will take a record of ICX balances held on the exchange and migrate those balances to SODA.

  • Once the migration process is complete, Coinone users will see their updated SODA balances directly in their accounts.

More exchanges coming soon

Additional centralized exchanges are already preparing to join the migration. As each confirms its schedule, we’ll update this blog post and our master thread on X with the key dates and any further instructions that may be required. Stay tuned to find out when your exchange of choice will support SODA..

CEX migration is the next major step in the transition to SODAX. Future phases will continue to expand support and finalize one-directional migration, along with on-chain features such as staking and liquidity.
