Cross-Network Execution over HTTP

Give your users access to 133+ whitelisted assets from any stack that can send an HTTP request. No SDK, no wallet library, no new runtime dependencies.

About Us

SODAX is an execution and liquidity system that enables DeFi actions across 20+ networks. This includes Solana, Sui, Stellar, Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Polygon. The system coordinates swaps, lending, and borrowing through a single layer powered by unified liquidity and intent-based execution.

The same execution, over the wire. Swaps run on the Swaps API v2, the same endpoints our own SDK's swaps client calls, so a direct integration reaches the same solvers, the same liquidity, and the same settlement. It is publicly addressable at api.sodax.com/v1/swaps from Python, Go, Rust, or anything that speaks HTTP. You sign the transactions it hands back; if your stack is TypeScript, the SDK is still the shorter path.

Why an API

An SDK is a dependency. An API is a contract. Integrate from any language, ship on your own release cycle, keep signing keys inside your own infrastructure, and add nothing to your frontend bundle.

One HTTP Surface

Twenty-one typed endpoints cover the full lifecycle: tokens, quotes, allowance and approval, create-intent, submit, status, packets, limit orders, gas, and fees. Anything that can send a request can execute a cross-network swap.

No Dependency Tax

No viem, no wallet providers, no framework. Use raw HTTP, or take the optional @sodax/swaps-api typed client, which depends on nothing but a runtime validator and a types package.

Predictable Failures

The typed client raises one error type carrying the endpoint, HTTP status, and validation detail, and retries idempotent reads and quotes on transient faults. Mutating calls are never retried, so a swap is never submitted twice. On raw HTTP the status codes are yours to handle.

AI Agents and Autonomous Systems

The same surface is exposed to agents through the public Builders MCP server

THE
SURFACE

Two ways to execute, ordered by how much you want to hold yourself, plus a read surface for agents. Both execution paths resolve to the same endpoints and the same SODAX liquidity.

Swaps API v2

Wire protocol

Raw HTTP over the full twenty-one-endpoint surface. Quote a route, build an unsigned transaction, sign it wherever you keep your keys, submit it, and poll until it settles. Coverage across 20+ networks with no client library in the path.

@sodax/swaps-api

Typed client

Optional TypeScript client over the same endpoints. Validates every response at runtime and converts wire values back to domain types. Zero dependency on the full SDK, viem, or wallet providers. Take it when you want types without the stack.

Builders MCP

Agent layer

A public MCP server exposing SODAX data and documentation to AI agents, so an agent can pull a quote and reason about a route before a human writes a line of code. Reads and quotes only; execution still goes through the endpoints above.

You set the fee

Every request carries an optional partnerFee in basis points, credited to a receiver address you control on Sonic. Send the same value on the quote and on the intent and your users see one consistent price. Integration is free; the fee on top is yours.

PARTNERS

Independent solvers aggregate liquidity from leading DEXs across major and emerging networks to support reliable cross-network execution.

SODAX Powered Application

Powered by SODAX

Partners and users benefit from coordinated execution across 50+ liquidity sources and network-dependent finality.

Houdini Swap integrated SODAX to support competitive cross-network execution across EVM networks, Solana, and Sui.

WHY SODAX

vs. the SODAX SDK

Same execution, same liquidity, same settlement. The SDK is the fastest path in TypeScript and ships wallet and React layers with it. The API is the fastest path everywhere else, and the only path if your stack isn't JavaScript.

vs. Building Yourself

Avoid months of cross-network infrastructure work. SODAX handles execution coordination, liquidity access, and recovery-aware flows so teams don't have to build them from scratch.

vs. Traditional Bridges

Bridges move assets. SODAX coordinates outcomes. Traditional bridges stop at transfer, leaving execution, liquidity, and recovery to the application.

Who We Are

Built by the ICON Foundation. A nonprofit organization based in Switzerland and regulated by Swiss authorities, ICON has worked on cross-network technology since 2017. In 2025, ICON shifted focus from operating an independent blockchain to directly addressing DeFi execution challenges through coordinated execution, a DAO-owned liquidity inventory, and network-agnostic UX.

The result is SODAX, an intent-based execution stack for swaps and money markets, backed by that inventory plus the local DEX and aggregator liquidity the system can reach on each network.

SODA

SODA Tokenomics

SODA is a governance token with yield from staking and protocol fees.

API partners configure fees in any token, with no SODA required for integration.
